Born and raised in southern New England, Richard Correale grew up surrounded by art. His father, Joseph Correale Jr., is a renowned watercolor artist in Rockport, Massachusetts.
As a young boy Correale was first introduced to the world of photography by his late grandfather, Joseph Correale Sr., who gave him his first camera, a Kodak Brownie.
Correale's early years of employment involved color separation for City Printing, one of the innovators of four-color printing. His interest and knowledge quickly grew into 42 years in the graphic arts.
As his career grew, so did Correale's passion for photography, which began as a hobby and has grown to his present status of professional photographer. In addition, Correale's imaging experience expanded into the newly evolving Giclee´ fine art reproduction field and he is now considered a master Giclee´ artisan. Currently, Correale has a permanent exhibit at the Shoreline Medical Center in Guilford, Connecticut.
Correale has been married for 40 years to his wife, Nadia, and they have been blessed with two daughters, Dr. Dana Correale and Tracy Correale.
